Wow, 5,000 mAh for $50.  It’s a big, dumb, somewhat visually deficient battery pack that has a USB out that will allow it to charge just about any phone and many other devices (like the sony psp).  This is actually $10 cheaper than the previous cheapest block battery, the I-UP 5400.

Another iPhone case battery with one of the largest batteries we’ve seen.  At 1300 mAh, it is slightly larger and a lot cheaper than the original Mophie juice pack air (1200 mAh – $68) and it blows away the 850 mAh of the case-mate.  I’m not sure about the orange and light blue writing on the back, but other than that it looks like a great deal.

Case-Mate has not wasted anytime releasing their new case battery for the new iPhone 4.  Even though the new iPhone 4 has a larger battery than all previous iPhones, it is only modestly larger and you’re still going to run that  baby down with heavy use.  It is cheaper than the Mophie juice pack air case battery ($68), but the Mophie is 1200mAh and this is only 850mAh. This case battery from case mate looks great and has a few nice features:

1) It includes micro-usb cable to charge and sync

2) I has a power button for the external battery so you can only use it when you want to

3) The “fuel gauge” led lights tell you how much juice you have left.

The iPhone 4 version is coming out soon, but you can grab the exact same Case-Mate 3G/3GS battery from amazon now.
