iPhone Battery Capacity

What is your internal iPhone battery capacity? Well, that depends on which model you have. They are all very similar with only 350 mAh between them.  For some reason the newer 3G & 3GS have the smaller battery…you’d think they would have increased it.  You can’t tell by the pictures, but the battery is very small.

• iPhone 3G & 3GS – have a 1150 mAh
• iPhone 4 – 1420 mAh Li-Polymer battery
  
• iPhone 2G – (original iPhone) has a 1400mAh

Don’t know what the “mAh”  is?  Basically it is the battery equivalence of your cars gas tank.   The bigger the gas tank (mAh) the longer your car can run.  So, the more mAh your battery has the longer your phone can run.  That is why batteries like the I-UP 5400 mAh is such a good deal for only $50.
